Species on the Edge - dates for your diary:

• June -Burnet surveys - we have a long list of Transparent Burnet historic sites for volunteers to check. More details to follow

• Wednesday 5th June - Evening online training - Northern Colette Bee - Sally Morris from Buglife (Species on the Edge Project Officer)

• Monday 10th June - In field ID training for Northern Colette - Ross of Mull

• Sunday 9th June - Nature Journaling  - Transparent Burnet site, Calgary Bay - number restricted to 10

• Friday 14th June - In Field training - Transparent Burnet surveying - Argyll - site tbc

• Sunday 16th June - Creative writing  - Glengorm Slender Scotch Site - numbers restricted to 10  

• Friday 5th July - Willow weaving - Calgary Bay - focus on insects and the machair - number restricted to 10

• Tuesday 16th & Wednesday 17th July - Clipper Festival in Oban - come and say hello at our stand.

• Thursday 8th August - Salen Show - help with the stall much appreciated.

• Saturday 17th August  Appin Show - help with the stall much appreciated.

• Saturday 31st - Creative writing - North Shiel - ne Appin. Marsh Fritillary site - number restricted to 10

• August into September is Marsh Fritillary web counting - again we have a list of historic sites for volunteers to check.

• Early September (date tbc) - Marsh Fritillary Web ID training in Lochaline
